This fall, iconic leather brand Smythson will launch its Art Diary series with limited edition two-sized diaries created by John Baldessari, Ed Ruscha, Gary Hume, and Rachel Whiteread. The leather-bound books incorporate the artists’ vision, with specialized ribbons and linings and will be available in a selection of leathers and colors. They will also include editorial picks from The Art Newspaper, highlighting art goings-on around the world to keep you up to date on all art exhibitions, auctions, and fairs happening in 2009. And, if having a chic book to store your most important dates wasn’t enough, all the proceeds from the sale of these limited editions will be donated to a charity selected by the artist.
